Strawberry Patch, Nikon 995 Let's talk tea, folks. Black tea, oolong tea, flavoured tea, it doesn't matter. They could be good for your heart (like green tea), or good at calming young babes down (like rooibos tea). So, what is your favourite tea, prefered brewing method? This enquiring mind wants to know.

I'm a total heathen. I like my tea in bags (though I do sometimes use loose Chinese tea in those little ball things). I just usually toss the tea bag in the cup and pour the water in because I've been drinking Earl Grey lately, which George hates. Once I run out and we're both drinking the same tea again (just plain old orange pekoe), I'll use the new tea pot my parents got me for Christmas.
I also like Chai, but I'm too impatient to do it on the stove so I nuke it in the microwave.

It depends on my mood. If the bub is being a fuss, I'll just toss a mug of cold water in the microwave and drop in a Lemon Zinger tea bag. If I have naptime to play with, I'll go through the whole tea kettle on stove/warmed china pot with loose leaves/strained into real teacup ceremony (haven't had that luxury in some time). Or as a compromise, I'll do Earl Grey in a tea ball right in a mug. I've just bought some loose Russian online, but haven't had time to try it out yet. I need to drink more green, really.

Normally we use a tea ball infuser if we have fresh tea and will use a tea kettle. Hubby loves his tea this way. If I am in a hurry I microwave a mug of water and use a tea bag. I love Tazo, Stash or Celestial Seasonings. Yum. I am drinking Chai as I type. Chai is my favorite right now although I do love Green Tea. I just found a Tea Room in my neighborhood that I didn't even know existed!

If it's not in a bag, I don't buy it. I don't even have a tea pot.
I do love tea though. My favorites lately are Green Tea (it has to be the Japanese style though), White tea, and Earl Grey. I had some Oolong Tea at a restaurant the other day but I can't find it anywhere. I've actually checked 4 different grocery stores. I guess I'll have to find a health food store or something.
The only teas I don't like are the lemon or berry flavored ones. I like traditional and "snobby" teas.
I drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning, then on average - 3-4 cups of tea throughout the day.

Mmmmmm I really like tea. Mostly I drink black tea, flavoured (earl grey, tetley, chai) or plain with milk and sugar. White tea and some green teas are nice too. I can't be bothered with the tea press or the tea ball most of the time, though we have them, tea bags are so much easier.

Everyday preference, is the spiced chai tea, with lots of foam. I don't make that one though. I love jasmine, chamoimille, and green tea as well. It reminds me that I should be drinking more of it, since the mornings here have been freezing.
